Abstract. The article is devoted to the publication of a complete catalog of archaeological finds of Chernyakhov fibulae in the upper Oka basin, from its upper reaches to the confluence with the Moskva River. It includes 74 specimens from 40 sites, which is almost five times more than previously published materials. This allows us to accurately define the boundaries of the Chernyakhov influence zone in the region and provide a more detailed description of this phenomenon. Most of the finds are associated with monuments of the Moshchiny culture and monuments of the Krivoluchye type. The main concentration zone is located on the Oka-Don watershed. On the left bank of the Oka, the number of finds decreases significantly, and they tend to be located near the riverbed, adjacent to the main concentration zone. The most distant individual finds are known from the sites of the Dyakovo culture. The appearance of Chernyakhov fibulae among the Moshchiny antiquities is associated with the 2nd cultural horizon of the sites of the Oka-Don watershed, which dates from the turn of the 3rd and 4th centuries to the middle of the 4th century. They continue to be used on sites of the 3rd cultural horizon, which dates back to the second half of the 4th century. Some new findings suggest that the tradition of using them in the upper Oka region continued until the beginning of the Migration Period. I.O. Gavritukhin previously made an important observation that there are an unusually large number of iron Chernyakhov-style fibulae on the Moshchiny monuments, and they clearly outnumber the bronze fibulae in terms of percentage. This is confirmed by the more extensive material now available. This fact allows us to talk about the possibility of their own production by the bearers of the Moshchino culture, along with imports.
