Abstract. The article is devoted to the publication of the early iron age funerary monuments of the Shlyahovsky burial mound, located in the Volga-Don interfluve. There is description of the two burials of pre-Sauromatian time, two of them belong to early Sarmatian time and the other two are related to the late Sarmatian time. The author analyzes the peculiarities of the funeral rite and clothing inventory, identifies chronological position and suggests dates of burial complexes.
